Joe Falzarano with his son Will

Whether Joe is producing, creating, advising or instructing, he is constantly submersed in developing leading edge talent and comedy ideas.  Much to his dad’s chagrin, Joe followed his calling and left the world of AT&T as an in-house advertising executive to start a new career in comedy as Manager of The Original New York Improv.  He made a swift transition to Caroline’s Comedy Club where he made his home for eight years.

Under his direction, Carolines built on its history as the most prestigious comedy venue in the country, by introducing an aggressive, highly focused expansion program.  Joe oversaw the management of Carolines Comedy Club, Carolines Talent Management, and TV production company.

Joe introduced such hot comedy stars as Jon Stewart,  Ray Romano, Dave Attell and Dave Chappelle to New York audiences as well as helped launch the writing careers of Louis C.K., Michael Patrick King, and Mike Sweeney.

Joe has also enjoyed a prolific career in producing some of comedy’s funniest moments on stage and television.  He earned the CableACE Award for producing Carolines Comedy Hour for A&E.  He also worked as a producer for Comedy Central’s Stand-Up Stand-Up and Short Attention Span Theater.  Joe’s credited with signing one of television’s hottest young stars, Greg Giraldo, as the company’s first management client, who later went on to develop his life story into an  ABC sitcom titled Common Law which aired for 12 episodes.  He introduced Chefs Mary Sue Miliken and Susan Feniger to the TV Food Network and developed their long running series Too Hot Tamales.

Recently. Joe was a consultant for the launch of the new Laugh Factory-Long Beach. He currently has TV, Internet, and film projects set up at Sony Animation Studios, Asylum Entertainment, and FOX Interactive.  He teaches his popular Stand-up Comedy Classes twice a week, and helps empower people in need of reconnecting with their funnybone all over the world.

Joe spends his free time coming up with new ways to convince his dad that comedy is a serious business.
